DescriptionFor the last major assignment of this course, you will finalize the research you have
been conducting on your topic for the Annotated Bibliography and turn it into a
synthesized argument.
You have completed your Annotated Bibliography so it is time to begin drafting your
final and most important paper for this course, the Synthesized Argument Research
Paper. Do not be alarmed at the word synthesized. This just means you are going to
have multiple sources that you use together in the paper in order to craft and make a
strong argument on your topic. Think back to the rhetorical analysis and comparisons
of texts you have previously done in this course. What made some arguments better
than others? Now you are going to use those same strategies to make your own
argument. You may indeed already have all the sources you need from your Annotated
Bibliography. BUT.. you may have found some of those sources too old or too biased
and still need to search for more.
This will be the last assignment for this course and it will be due no later than May 8,
2023. No exceptions to this as I will need time to grade the papers before submitting
grades. There is no final exam in this course, only this final paper.
